Fuel mileage and trip cost
Work out measured mileage and a trip fuel-cost scenario using your supplied fuel price.
Your scenario
Preparing the calculator…
Your result
- Measured mileage (km/l)
- 15
- Trip fuel estimate (litres)
- 30
- Trip fuel cost estimate (₹)
- 3,000
Formula and assumptions
Mileage = distance ÷ litres used. Trip fuel = trip distance ÷ measured mileage. Cost = trip fuel × supplied price.
Fuel usage must match the measured journey. Traffic, terrain, load and driving style may change the trip result. No live fuel price is fetched.
A little guidance.

Numbers are calculated locally. Dates use the stated counting convention. Results download as plain text with assumptions. See browser compatibility.
Limitations
Fuel usage must match the measured journey. Traffic, terrain, load and driving style may change the trip result. No live fuel price is fetched.
Worked example
300 km with 20 litres gives 15 km/l. A 450 km trip needs approximately 30 litres, or ₹3,000 at ₹100/litre.
Formula
Mileage = distance ÷ litres used. Trip fuel = trip distance ÷ measured mileage. Cost = trip fuel × supplied price.
Questions, answered.
Do my files leave my device?
Processing adapters run in your browser. Fonts and code are served from this site. A peer transfer is a separate, explicit transmission; this tool never sends your content to an AI service.
Can I use it offline?
This build needs its code assets to load. Verified, installable offline packs are a launch requirement and are still in development.
What if my inputs are invalid?
The workspace displays a specific error. Try a smaller synthetic example or a supported format. Keep your originals and review exported files before relying on them.
