Your files are your business.
Processing on your device
Implemented processing adapters run in your browser or browser workers. They do not upload file contents, text, passwords or generated results. There is no session replay or cloud AI inference. Basic Google Analytics is used on public information pages, after page load; it is excluded from tool workspaces and submission/status pages.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics (G-LTZ3LTC9Y1) measures public page visits and browser/device information and can set analytics cookies. We strip query strings, fragments and referrers from our page-view payload and do not send filenames, entered text, identifiers or generated outputs. Advertising signals are disabled. Do Not Track and the preference below prevent loading Analytics. Google processes the network request; its privacy policies apply. This is separate from local file processing.
What does use the network?
The browser fetches the page, bundled fonts and code from the site. Optional model and engine packs are fetched from this site after explicit selection. Manual peer connections transmit selected files or whiteboard strokes to the connected peer. Optional STUN discovery contacts the selected discovery service; this is disclosed before enabling it.
Local storage
Your colour theme, favourite tool IDs and recent tool IDs are stored locally. Filenames, document contents and passwords are not saved to persistent storage by this build. Inputs and results are held in memory while the page is open. Downloads are explicit and use your browser’s download location.
Startup directory
Directory listing details are a separate public submission: when submissions open, the form sends its name, website, description and category for review. Approved listings become public. Bookmarks remain local; anonymous upvotes use a secure first-party browser cookie and a keyed hash. Private submission receipts are never published. See the directory policy for retention and review details. Submission availability is controlled by the owner; voting availability is separate. Optional founder declarations, demo URLs and social links become public only after review and publication. Directory engagement uses a random 24-hour first-party cookie and daily keyed hashes to suppress repeats; aggregate counters remain. The directory has a separate measurement opt-out and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Demo players contact their providers only after selection. Read /startups/methodology/ for retention, ranking windows and limitations.
Verify the promise
Use your browser’s network panel with a synthetic marker in a sample file. Clear requests, process the file, and inspect outgoing request bodies. An automated cross-browser marker audit and verified offline packs are required before public launch.
Clear local preferences
Clear this site’s storage in your browser settings to remove theme, favourites and recent tools. Close the page to release in-memory inputs. Deleting browser data does not delete files you downloaded.
